Threaded Flange is a kind of non-welded flange by processing the inner hole of the flange into pipe thread and matching with the threaded pipe to realize the connection. Compared with flat welding flange or butt welding flange, threaded flange has the characteristics of convenient installation and maintenance.
Threaded flanges are attached to the pipe like any other screwed fittings, and may be back-welded to seal the joint between pipe and flange. Although still available in most sizes and pressure ratings, screwed fittings today are used almost exclusively in smaller pipe sizes and at low pressures.
